Dan Gordeyeva

Instructor

Tree climbing has always been part of Dan’s life, but for most of that time it was limited to what he could reach. After a year of SRT climbing and camping in Northeastern trees, Dan took Cornell’s class climbing Redwoods and was hired with his brother by the end of the trip. Since then, he has taught classes on campus in his spare time while working professionally as a solar electrician, climbed in Costa Rica with COE, and been a lead instructor for Cornell’s Redwoods class. During this time Dan has also helped with various stages of research in the canopy and has aspirations to continue doing so while continuing to teach classes.
